One-north Self-Driving Vehicle Trial Site
Delegates will be able to visit one-north, the first public road network with demarcated routes which are 6km long, as an initial staging test-bed to serve as a proof-of-concept for SDV testing. To date, 3 participants, have been granted approval to conduct on-road testing in one-north. They include the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART), A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R) and nuTonomy.
On 1 August 2016, LTA signed separate partnership agreements with shortlisted RFI participants Delphi and nuTonomy, to test their shared, on-demand, door-to-door, first-and-last-mile, and intra-town self-driving transportation concepts in the one-north test-bed.
Delegates will be able to experience a technology demonstration showcase, exhibited by these participants.
