Singapore Remains a Safe Travel Destination

1. The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has released a statement that Singapore remains a safe travel destination. Please see here for more information.


2. The wellbeing of visitors remains as Singapore’s top priority and a robust system has been put in place to mitigate the spread of Zika in the community. The World Health Organization (WHO) upholds Singapore's transparency, regime of quick reporting and thorough response in managing the local transmission of Zika as a "role model" for other countries.


3. The safety and health of our delegates and visitors are of utmost importance to us. SITCE 2016 will be held in Suntec Singapore, which is located outside the known clusters. The exhibition and congress sessions are held in indoor air-conditioned halls and conference rooms.


4. We will continue to monitor the Zika virus situation closely through the Ministry of Health (MOH), National Environment Agency (NEA) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
